Fashion designer and reality TV personality Seema Sajdeh recently opened up about her journey after parting ways with actor Sohail Khan. In a heartfelt chat with Janice Sequeira, Seema reflected on her life post-divorce, her fears about dating again, and how her stint on Netflix’s Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives brought her into a new spotlight.

Seema, who was married to Sohail Khan for over two decades, revealed that stepping back into the dating world after their 2022 separation was far from easy. “Honestly, for me, it was the worst part,” she admitted. Despite friends urging her to just go out and meet people, the idea terrified her. “I’ve watched way too much Law & Order: SVU, and I kept thinking, ‘What if he turns out to be a serial killer?’” she said, laughing.

Known for being fiercely independent and rooted in tradition, Seema confessed that modern dating lingo was like a foreign language to her. She recalled a hilarious incident involving a dating app that she joined after a night out with friends. “I had a bit too much to drink and let my friends convince me to sign up. But the next morning, I realized I had accidentally selected ‘female’ as the gender I was looking for. I thought they were asking about my own gender!” she said, adding that it was her first and last time trying an app.

Before marrying Sohail in 1998, Seema was briefly engaged to businessman Vikram Ahuja. Her wedding with Sohail included both an Arya Samaj ceremony and a nikkah. The couple shares two sons, Nirvan, born in 2000, and Yohan, born in 2011. While they went their separate ways in 2022, Seema has since embraced a new chapter in her life.

Her popularity soared after starring in Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, where she won hearts with her unfiltered personality and strong sense of self. Today, Seema is not only thriving in her fashion career but is also in a happy relationship.
