Tiff Baira is ready to share her romance wisdom in a new book.
The content creator, known online as New York City’s TikTok Cupid, exclusively shared the cover of her new book, Modern Dating for Dummies, with PEOPLE, which hits shelves this summer from Wiley.
The book, per its synopsis, aims to demystify the modern dating experience for readers, and help them find joy in the journey, despite the “draining,” “disorienting” and “dangerous” bits that it can bring.
Based on lessons that Baira learned herself as a bachelorette in New York, the author will serve as a personal guide for readers, and provide insight on hurdles like navigating dating apps, starting and ending situationships, bouncing back after being ghosted and more.

Baira, who starred in the Roku series Match Me in Miami as part of the Miami Matchmaking Agency, knows a thing or two about giving dating advice. Her web series Take Me Out invites strangers and celebrity guests to join her on first dates (she’s “gone out” with stars like Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh), and Baira also hosts the woman-on-the-street series Street Hearts and Love Train, both dedicated to setting up strangers in New York City.
Her new book, however, is more than just entertaining, as she tells PEOPLE.
“I wrote Modern Dating for Dummies because it’s my mission to make sure people can find love while loving themselves. The dating rules are antiquated, lack diversity and leave people feeling more insecure, making them think they are the problem,” Baira says.

“This book is about empowering all people to put themselves out there, explore everything the dating world has to offer with confidence, and navigate the world of love with intention, not desperation,” she continues.
Baira’s main goal, however, is to provide readers with a newfound feeling of purpose regarding dating, no matter who they are.

“I hope by reading this, readers discover how to date, but also how to be proud of who they are,” the author adds. “I always say, how you date is how you live. I want readers to know they deserve the best and nothing less!”
Modern Dating for Dummies will be published on Aug. 19 and is now available for preorder, wherever books are sold.
