Frank Ocean Rumored To Be Dating UFC Fighter Payton Talbott, Leaks Unreleased Song Snippet

The man Frank Ocean is rumored to be dating has shared a snippet of an unreleased song from the singer, further fueling speculation surrounding the mysterious music star’s romantic life.

In a video blog posted on UFC fighter Payton Talbott’s YouTube channel on Friday (March 14), a portion of a song by Ocean was used by Talbott as part of the soundtrack to a montage of various clips from his training and travels.

In the snippet, which is 36 seconds long, Frank can be heard crooning lovelorn lyrics, as he sings, “I read your diary, every line/ I wanna drink your words like wine” atop a sparse instrumental.

The preview marks the rare unveiling of new material from Ocean, whose last official single was released nearly five years ago in 2020.

The reclusive Grammy Award winner’s last studio album drop was in 2016, when he released his sophomore effort, Blonde. It debuted atop the Billboard 200, marking his first No. 1 entry on the chart.

While the 37-year-old has been pretty mum on the musical tip, he’s also teased unreleased music via his Blonded Radio show on Apple Music, which last aired in December 2021.

Ocean, who during the leadup to the release of his debut album Channel Orange admitted to previously being romantically involved with a man, has not publicly addressed his rumored relationship with Talbott.

However, the singer and songwriter seemingly paid tribute to Talbott on Valentine’s Day, sharing a photo of the fighter on his social media page.

In response, Talbott posted a video of Ocean shirtless in the gym on his own Instagram Stories, which many took as confirmation of their alleged romance.

Rumors of the pair dating were first sparked in summer 2024 when the two were spotted out having lunch together.

Earlier this year, a friend of Talbott’s shared insight into the nature of his dealings with Ocean, revealing that Ocean has kissed the fighter on at least one occasion.

Ocean also attended Talbott’s most recent UFC match, as he was captured sitting ringside during Talbott’s bout against Raoni Barcelos at UFC 311. He also showed support to the 26-year-old fighter on social media at the time, posting a photo of Talbott cooking in a kitchen.
